Redpath Sugar was purpose built in the 1950s in this location because of the connection to the St. Lawrence Seaway.celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2019. Now surrounded by condominiums Redpath is the last industrial commercial dock on the Central Toronto Waterfront. Redpath is the perfect example of an industrial entity struggling successfully to remain relevant and in situ in a gentrified environment.
